• Requests for information (RFI) are general invitations to contractors requesting information for a potential future solicitation. The RFI is typically used as a research and information gathering tool for preparation for a solicitation
• Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) are solicitation documents requesting submittal of qualifications or specialized expertise in response to the scope of services required. No pricing is solicited with an RFQ.
