If you require more assistance regarding any of the information below, please use the "Ask PPS" button on the menu to the left. Scroll to "Ask Travel" or call 940-565-3200.
PPS Travel Services are available to assist UNT employees in making purchases directly related to traveling on behalf of the University and System. The goal is to minimize out of pocket costs for the individual. A Travel Advance Card is similar to a prepaid credit card. When you get ready to travel, PPS can issue a Travel Advance Card with a credit limit set to accommodate purchases that need to be made while away from home. Types of purchases can include but are not limited to lodging, meals, ground transportation, and incidentals. PPS travel services can also assist you in making pre-travel purchases such as for airfare, lodging rental car, meals and incidentals expenses.
Travel on behalf of the University is governed by policy and state statutes. Travel training is required for those whose primary accountability includes making travel arrangements for faculty, staff, or students.
Certain group travel arrangements that involve a contract or qualify for a group discount must utilize the ePro requisition system. Travel services can help you to determine the most efficient way to make travel related purchases.
